The Alfa-Exiga 4WD was designed in 1995 by La-Qwima [Renault] in Inisialla. A-Exiga is an improved Legacy. The A-Exiga designed with sharp lines, big and prominent head-lights, a roomy interior, and practical 3-row seating arrangement. The seats rotate 180 degrees. all-aluminum construction and low friction components to achieve low fuel consumption without sacrificing power output.
The all-new H-6 power unit is exceptionally compact thanks to the forward positioning of the front differential. The new suspension system was designed for the most effecient space utilization and achieves an excellent combination of precise handling and smooth ride. The unique Subaru powertrain layout with a longitudinally-mounted, horizontally-opposed engine achieves high ride stability. The newly developed suspension system employs double wishbones on the front and a multi-link setup on the rear. These further enhance the sporty yet comfortable ride which give Subaru station wagons their unique advantage.
Specially developed by Bridgestone, the Exiga's tires achieve excellent grip on dry or wet surfaces and provide an extremely quiet and comfortable ride. The A-Exiga is safe, too, thanks to the latest developments in Subaru's 4WD technology. The Exiga is fitted with the advanced VDC (Vehicle Dynamic Control) active safety system, and the ADA (Active Drive Assist) system which is designed to anticipate and help prevent accidents caused by human error.
